I am Christina Stamatakou, owner of the up-market fashion boutique Speak Out, designer of Speak Out sandals and founder of the White.Weddings & Events boutique planning company in the center of Hydra’s picturesque, cosmopolitan harbor. After I completed my studies in management and economics, I returned to live on my home island. I have attended several seminars for event planning, fashion styling, and interior design and have worked in tourism as well. As a professional event planner, I bring to the table an ability to deal with any issue, persistence, punctuality, and creativity. I approach every customer’s event as a unique experience.

As an Hydra native and business owner, over the last decade and a half, I have developed working relationships with the best service providers, hotels, and vendors and can help you plan and organize the wedding or event of your dreams so that you can arrive and enjoy our island and your special day stress-free.

Your wedding is among the most important events of your life, and when planning your day from afar, you want to keep things as simple as possible. To do that, you need someone reliable, with good working relationships with all the various vendors, who is based permanently on the island, day in, day out, and can address any questions or issues immediately, at any time of year. The fact that I am a native Greek speaker will ensure that communications go smoothly and misunderstandings are avoided. And on the day of your event, I will be assisted by my husband, Argyris, and a team of three more assistants (e.g., decorator, florist).

I am a nature and animal lover. Argyris and I live on Hydra all year around, and in addition to the Speak Out boutique and the White. Wedding and Events company, we run Argyris Horses, a horse riding and trekking company. When we do not travel to buy new things for the shop, we go hiking and riding up into Hydra’s mountains. I love cats and freshly cut flowers!
