But what are the differences among an elopement, an intimate wedding and a micro wedding?
A micro wedding is a wedding with less than 20 guests. Being smaller in size, it’s more relaxed and gives you the opportunity to spend lots of quality time with your other guests before and after the ceremony.
An elopement is usually done in secret, will be attended by just the couple marrying the two witnesses and few dearest friends or relatives.Ceremony takes place in a remote and romantic location. Often, with a special meaning for the couple.
An intimate or small wedding is generally considered to have between 30 and 60 guests. Both intimate and micro weddings are a full wedding day, just on a smaller scale.
Small weddings are relaxed and wonderful. You have more time to enjoy the island and spend time together with your relatives and friends. However, it doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style or the type of day you want. Although the guest list will be small, your Big Day can be big on style and atmosphere. You can also extend your wedding to a three-day celebration.
Because your wedding will be small doesn’t mean you can’t have a planner. Having someone local with great vendors contacts and who’ll be there on the day to make things run smoothly will reduce stress and help you enjoy the day.
I remember every single elopement and small wedding I have planned! Emotional and unforgettable. Full of memories and great fun!
What about a wedding like a fairy tale riding a white horse to meet your prince of your heart ?
And what about saying I DO on a remote beach during the most beautiful sunset?
Excited? Me too!
